Luke History

ralphlukeLuke Oil is a third generation family owned business founded by Ralph Luke (1931-2007) in 1967 in Hobart, Indiana. We started out as a supplier of home heating oil and by 1980. Luke Oil transitioned into a fuel supplier for branded and unbranded convenience stores. Luke Oil soon became the largest furl supplier in Northwest Indiana, supplying fuel for over 125 convenience stores in Indiana, Michigan and Chicago markets. Today Luke distributes more than 400 million gallons of fuel annually through its network of retail stations, dealers, fuel distributors, national, government and commercial customers. Continued growth inspired diversification into wholesale fuel supply with a top notch trucking company to deliver to every industry with fuel needs.

GoLo History

The unbranded movement began in Northwest Indiana about the time when Welsh Oil (Mobil) sold to Speedway in 1999. In 2008 Luke bought Shell and Atlas bought BP in 2009. Luke began conversion to unbranded and in 2009 developed GoLo offering for dealers. In September 2011 GoLo had 15 accounts and within 30 months GoLo grew to over 100 accounts. Today GoLo is now a market leader.
